Meeting at Algiers Airport around 10:00 PM:
An Oryx Voyage representative will be there to assist with your check-in and provide all necessary information. During this meeting, our representative will give an overview of the trip details and provide important safety instructions for the journey.

Day 1:
Arrival at Tamanrasset Airport and transfer by 4x4 vehicles to the hotel. Check-in and rest after your flight.

In the morning, after breakfast, we depart by 4x4 toward Tassili n’Ahaggar. Our adventure begins as we explore the depths of the Tassili. We will stop at various sites to discover ancient rock paintings and stunning landscapes, eventually reaching the “Fouts” area for lunch. Later, we head to the “Gassour” area, one of the most beautiful tourist regions in the desert with its breathtaking rock formations, where we will set up camp and spend the night.

Day 2:
After breakfast, we head to one of the desert’s treasures, Tin Akachaker, in the heart of Tassili n’Ahaggar, known for its spectacular volcanic mountains and impressive sand dunes. We explore the area and admire rock paintings dating back thousands of years. In the evening, we enjoy one of the desert’s most magical sunsets—warm sunlight blending with the sands to create an unforgettable scene, perfect for photography.

Day 3:
Rise early to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast, we set off toward the enchanting Youf Ahakit, famed for its natural rock castles resembling needles atop vast sand dunes.

Our experienced guide shares exciting stories and legends about the rock paintings we encounter along the way, created by nomadic peoples thousands of years ago. Each painting tells a unique story.

After a full day of exploration, we arrive at Youf Aghlal for a night under the stars. Our chef, Uncle Zawi, prepares a delicious dinner, enjoyed around the campfire. Guests can also sip desert tea while listening to fascinating tales from Uncle Abdelrahman, immersing themselves in Tuareg culture and traditions.

Day 4:
The day begins with a delicious breakfast and a stunning sunrise. We continue to the village of Indelagh for lunch and a short rest.

Next, we journey to Tangt Oasis, famous for its rock paintings, fresh waters, and stunning scenery, where we spend the night. In the evening, Uncle Zawi prepares a traditional Tuareg dinner enjoyed under the stars around the campfire. Guests also enjoy stories and legends of the Tuareg, offering a deep dive into the rich history and traditions of this remarkable region.

Day 5:
Today, we visit the Asskrem area to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on Earth. UNESCO recognizes this location as one of the best places to experience these magical moments. We spend the night at Asskrem Camp, established in 1936, for a true desert experience. Guests will have the opportunity to meet a Spanish monk living in the Asskrem monastery, who shares captivating stories about Father Foucault, the founder of Tamanrasset city.

The sunset here is a once-in-a-lifetime experience—an awe-inspiring spectacle you must witness firsthand.

Day 6:
For those who wish to witness another extraordinary sunrise, wake early to see the sunlight cast breathtaking reflections on the surrounding mountains. It’s a moment to fully immerse yourself in nature, putting aside your phone to savor every second.

After breakfast at Asskrem Camp, we begin our return to Tamanrasset via Afilal Oasis, stopping for lunch and a rest.

Later, enjoy free time to explore Tamanrasset city and visit local markets for unique souvenirs. In the evening, the perfect end to our journey: a traditional desert music party organized exclusively for our guests. Experience the preparation of “Mardouma”, lamb roasted under the sand in the traditional desert style, alongside other local dishes. This extraordinary night includes enchanting rhythms and lively dances.

Day 7:
After the celebration, we head to the airport with unforgettable memories of the desert’s beauty, the generosity of the Tuareg, and their rich traditions.
